Upon visiting the CBC website, I realized that I missed an EKOS poll posted last night. While this poll's national numbers are not surprising, it has interesting (and good for the Liberals) regional numbers for Québec and Ontario. In La Belle Province, EKOS pegs the Grits at a strong 26.8%, essentially tied with the Bloc, which got a surprisingly low 28.3%. The NDP scored 17.7%, 3 points more than in last week's EKOS poll. In Ontario, EKOS shows the Tory lead at 3.5%, down from 9.4% last week.
In the aggregate projection, the Conservatives lose a seat to the Liberals in Ontario, but gain one from the NDP in Manitoba. The NDP has been doing consistently poorly in MB/SK - and the consistency is quite surprising given the small sample sizes.
CON - 150
LIB - 75
BQ - 51
NDP - 32
The average Conservative national lead is 10.6%.
